Fable 5.1 launched on September 1 with the same plan treatment as Fable 5. Its launch is not a public reset or a new free allowance.

For paid Claude plans; distinguish seat-based from usage-based Enterprise.

What changed

Before: The Fable 5 promotion ended July 19 at 11:59:59 PM Pacific.
Now: Fable 5.1 was never in that promotion; both versions follow the same plan rules.

Max and premium Team or legacy seat-based Enterprise seats: Fable can use up to half of the existing weekly allowance.
Pro and standard Team or seat-based Enterprise seats: usage credits are required; Enterprise needs organization enablement.
Usage-based Enterprise and API access are billed at API rates.

Our advice: check your plan, model and remaining usage before changing models or enabling extra spending. We cannot verify your account allowance.
