What to do when you reach a limit

Distinguish your account window, public announcements and paid resets before acting.

Start with your account

  1. Check the Usage page in Codex settings or /status in the CLI for your remaining usage and reset time; Claude has a Usage page in its settings. All three entry points are linked at the foot of this page.
  2. A public announcement describes its scope; it does not prove receipt in your account.
  3. If you want a reminder, set it from the time your account shows. Do not guess if no time is available.
